Upcoming phase shift on I-59 in Trussville

The Alabama Department of Transportation will implement Phase II-C of the I-59 improvement project in Trussville on Monday, July 20, 2025.

As part of this shift, the southbound ramps at Chalkville Mountain Road will be closed to allow for the next stage of construction.

Drivers are encouraged to plan alternate routes and follow all posted detours for the safety of the traveling public and our crews.
