A temporary bridge will carry traffic over Daniels Branch on SR-273 while ALDOT's contractor demolishes and replaces the existing bridge.

Traffic on SR-273/Blue Pond Road in Cherokee County will cross via a temporary bridge during replacement of the bridge over Daniels Branch, north of Leesburg.

A contractor for ALDOT will paint the "useless" overpass on US-231/SR-53/South Memorial Parkway in Huntsville to help to protect the bridge and extend its useful life.

New paint will help extend the useful life of what many Huntsville residents refer to as the “useless overpass.”
