Planned Lane Closures on I-65 in Shelby County

Beginning at 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 20, weather permitting, the Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) will close the inside lane of both I-65 southbound and northbound for temporary concrete barrier installation and grading work for bridge access between exit 238 (Alabaster) and milepost 236.

The contractor has begun work on the roadway approaching the bridge on Parker Road.
